Genesis Mega Bundle

Description

This felt storyboard bundle has everything that you need to tell Bible stories from the entire book of Genesis.  It includes specific items for the days of creation, Adam and Eve in the garden, the Fall, Cain and Abel, and Noah and the flood, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph.

The foundational piece is the double-sided flannel board.  One side is black and the other is blue.  This board will be used for all Felt & Flannel stories.  Two different backgrounds provide you with outdoor settings for Bible stories.  The water can be placed behind the grass to show a small lake or pond.  The river is a road on the opposite side, and the flannel tree and bushes are olive green on one side and apple green on the other.

I tried to make this set with as much play value as possible.  Many of the pieces can serve more than one purpose:

• The water background can be placed behind the green grass for a small pond.
• The flannel tree and bushes are double sided (two-toned)
• The river doubles as a path.
• The altar is also a well – just flip the oval inside from black to blue.
• The baskets are double-sided, and their contents can be switched.
• The animals all fit inside Noah’s ark.
• The people can go inside the tent.
• The people are like paper dolls, in that they come naked and have hair on the back side of their heads. You can turn them around to make them face away from the viewer.  Just put the clothes on backwards to make it seem like the back side of a person. They also come with several sets of clothes for added play value and versatility.  The people are approximately 4” tall.  People are available in two skin-tones: light and medium.

Storyboard figures can be stored inside the mesh storage bag, and everything fits inside the zippered carrying case.  Additional storyboards can also fit inside the case in their mesh bags.

NOTE:  This Bundle is a combination of Board, Bags and Backgrounds, In the Beginning… play set and Patriarchs play set.  It also contains the Egypt companion set pieces.  Add the New Testament completer set, and you can also tell the New Testament stories.  Other companion sets are also available.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

This product is handmade from acrylic felt, cotton flannel, fabric paint, fabric glue, and fusible adhesive, lace and yarn.  The board is made from foam core board and cotton flannel.  The Felt & Flannel story board pieces can be gently washed by hand and placed flat on a towel to dry as needed.  If the layers of the pieces start to delaminate, cover any fabric paint with a piece of parchment paper and iron for about 5 seconds with an iron set to “acrylic” to re-activate the adhesive.   If the flannel pieces (sand/water or bushes) start to fray, iron for about 7 seconds with an iron set to “acrylic” and trim the frayed edges with sharp scissors.
