Description
This play set includes the special figures to tell or play the stories of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph from the second part of Genesis. It is intended to be used with the In the Beginning… bundle. The Egypt companion set is included in this set.
I have tried to add as much play value to these pieces and to make them as versatile as possible. The people can go inside the tent, and the altar doubles as a well – just flip over the black/blue oval in the top of the well. It can also be an empty well for Joseph’s brothers to put him in.
As with all the people in the Bible Story series, the people are naked, have hair on both front and back of their heads, and come with a variety of clothes. Think of them as paper dolls or actors on a stage. Change the outfit and you have a new character! Turn the person around and put his clothes on backwards, and you have someone looking away from you rather than towards you. The people are approximately 4” tall. People are available in two skin-tones: light and medium.
Flannel board and backgrounds are sold separately. Product may not be exactly as shown.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
This product is handmade from acrylic felt, cotton flannel, fabric paint, fusible adhesive, lace and yarn. The pieces can be gently washed by hand and placed flat on a towel to dry as needed. If the layers of the pieces start to delaminate, iron for about 5 seconds with an iron set to “acrylic” (cover any fabric paint with a piece of parchment paper first). This should re-activate the adhesive.
